The Old Rugged Cross is a timeless and beautiful hymn with powerful and soul-stirring lyrics that are rooted deeply in God’s Word. My team and I have worked hard to bring my vision of a classic-country version of this song to life. By using authentic and classic instrumentation, the aim is to share the gospel message through the style of country music that we have been called to pursue. I would like to personally invite you to stream it and share it so others can hear love of Jesus and the gift of salvation.
For those of you that have been following me and supporting me over the years, know that I have been performing our nation’s beloved anthem, for what feels like, my whole life… over 200 times and counting! It is always a privilege to honor America in this way and I am so grateful for every opportunity to do so. Both of my Grandfathers AND 2 Great-Grandfathers served in the Army so I understand and appreciate our military; past and present. My dad served 33 years in the Fire Department and is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute. The patriotism runs very deep in my family. I have been asked many times to professionally record the National Anthem and I am beyond blessed to honor America through my released version of “The Star Spangled Banner,” out now streaming on all platforms!
